The Bell Center
Homewood, AL

The 19,000 SF campus is a trans-disciplinary facility and is completely ADA compliant, with hallways wide enough for multiple participants with tricycles, wheelchairs or walkers to walk two-by-two down the hallways. While the second floors houses staff offices and workspaces for the center’s staff of teachers, therapists and medical professionals, the main floor features both an infant wing and a toddler wing each with small group instruction rooms complete with classroom and support technology. The new facility includes a therapeutic equipment lending library, as well as rooms for family consultations and a sensory room. The toddler classrooms have access to smaller viewing rooms allowing parents to observe classes. The outdoor space includes a memory garden leading to an open playground.
