Church of the Highlands
Launching 2001 in a high school fine arts auditorium, only 4 years later, Church of the Highlands approached the LIVE Design Group to help them build a facility that would respond to their rapid growth. The 77-acre site was master-planned and the first phase of development included a 2400 seat worship room that is fan shaped room with a combination of stadium seats and a large flat floor that allows for tables and chairs to be brought in for banquets and conferences. An expansive commons area includes a coffee shop that provides a place to congregate before and after the services. The children’s wing includes two – 250 seat auditoriums and an indoor playground. The nursery provides over 20 classrooms to accommodate infants through preschoolers. Administrative offices and a 500 seat youth auditorium are housed upstairs.
