After a one-day LIVE session here in Birmingham the Summit Church team worked with us to develop the design for their renovation of an existing facility located within a mall in Corpus Christie, Texas.  The design included a 1,000 seat worship venue, children’s area, café, commons and adult education space. During the one-day session our teams worked together to create a dynamic 40,000 square foot project that is scheduled to begin construction in late 2011.

Crosspoint Church in Smyrna, Georgia came to us for a LIVE design session in order to create a unique design for a new center where they plan to provide outreach services in a community center feel to the growing Smyrna hispanic community. The facility will provide computer labs, language classrooms, day care facilities and assembly space. The design developed during the LIVE session has provided Crosspoint Church with the images they need to continue their fundraising for this exciting project.

LIVE Design Group recently took our unique LIVE design process to Sharon Baptist Church in McDonough, Georgia in order to design a new renovation of their lobby and commons area. Working onsite with the Sharon Baptist team the 3,000 SF renovation design was accomplished in a one-day LIVE session and will include a new information desk, coffee bar while featuring unique design elements to enhance and define worship room entrances and create intimate gathering spaces to promote fellowship.

This recent half-day LIVE Design Session with East Coast Christian Center was accomplished entirely via video conferencing and Go-To Meeting. Together with our LIVE Design team the church was able to redesign their existing commons space allowing them to reconfigure functions to include a bookstore and coffee shop as well as all new interior finishes. Having the flexibility to work with our clients live via the internet allowed the church to accomplish their goals within their schedule and this 4,000 SF project is already under construction. Our extensive church design experience allows a church to participate in and have ownership of the design we develop together in our LIVE Design Sessions.

During Bay Community’s LIVE Design Session LIVE Design Group developed the schematic design for the main campus worship room and for a satellite campus in Mobile, Alabama. This 18,000 SF project includes an addition to an existing facility including the renovation of the old space and the addition of a 1000 seat worship room, commons, bookstore, & coffee shop. Bay Community Church travelled to Birmingham to utilize LIVE Design Group’s extensive church design experience and to participate in a LIVE Design session, which allows a church to participate in and have ownership of the design developed by LIVE Design Group.

LIVE Design Group recently teamed with Seven Hills Church after they acquired 15 acres adjacent their existing campus in Florence, Kentucky a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio.  They engaged our team to study their new and existing properties to determine the total potential build-out of their campus.  With Seven Hill’s Pastor and his team present LIVE Design Group worked together with the church during a two-day LIVE Design Session.  During the session the team from Seven Hills actively participated in the development of the plans for their future facilities, live with the team. Much was accomplished during the LIVE Design Session including a comprehensive site master plan for all future construction on Seven Hill’s property, and a schematic design conceptual model of phase I.  The first phase of the master plan consists of a 2400 seats sanctuary, two story lobby, café, administrative offices, back stage support and additional parking.

The team from First Church Pearland located outside of Houston, Texas travelled to Birmingham for a two-day LIVE Design session in order to design a new event center as well as day care facility for their church along with a renovation to their existing facility. During the two-day LIVE design session First Church was able to participate in the in the development of their design incorporating unique features and elements to their project during the session. Phase I of First Church Pearland will be 25,000 square feet while Phase II, the day care facility will measure 15,000 square feet. Construction is scheduled for early 2012.

LIVE Design Group developed a “LIVE” design concept for Agape Church in Laurel, Mississippi. The church renovated the historic Woolworth building in the heart of downtown Laurel. The Four One Five – City Center project incorporates a coffee shop-café-music venue to create new life for the inner city location.  Agape Church operates the venue and conducts church services in the 300 seat venue on Sundays.
The project includes supporting offices, educational space and bookstore to serve the members of Agape Church as well as the downtown community.  As a multi-tenant building, the 12,000 sf building also offer offices for rent.  LIVE Design Group utilized our unique LIVE design session to create this dynamic commercial-worship space in an interactive, one day session with the Agape Church team onsite here in Birmingham.
