Matthew Burks

Project Architect

Matthew’s curiosity for architecture began at a young age with his love for drawing and building with blocks and Legos. He is interested in the entire design process, from the initial master planning and overall design of a project to the small, thorough details that truly complete a project.  Matthew has a broad range of architectural experience that includes worship, multi-family living, institutional, and home health, as well as construction project management experience.  He enjoys working closely with clients to ensure that the design matches their desired goals and expectations.

Outside of work, Matthew enjoys spending time with his daughter, wife and two Labrador retrievers.   Matt’s main hobby is cycling, and he is on the board of Directors for Bici Bicycle Cooperative, a non-profit bike shop.  He is active in his church and serves on the Skilled Construction team.
